MMA reports wrong number of tracks

Post by henri.pellemans »

Using MMW Gold (4) Window 10 Pro 64-bit
Using MMA Pro latest version
Samsung A52 5G + Samsung 512 SD card

I sync via Wifi from my PC to the smartphone. I added about 8.000 tracks and MMA | Folders | Library SD card reports 8.000 tracks. So far so good.

Now I add another 8.000 tracks (Wifi Sync) and MMA | Folders | Library SD card reports 20.000 track. If I go one step futher in the menu, and I count the tracks in the subfolders, there are 16.000 tracks.

Deleted all MP3 files. MMA | Folders | Library SD card still reports 4.000 tracks, although all folders are empty. The only way to get rid of this report is to complety uninstall MMA Pro.

By the way, where are the sync setting in MMW 5. Maybe I overlooked something?

I found the sync option in MMW5.

I synchronized (with WiFi) 38K MP3 files in "packages" of about 2K. Each time after syncing, I waited until the MMA database was updated. The strange behaviour dissappeared.

Now I'm going to sync the files to my other phone. Let's see what happens if I sync with larger packages.
