Hi!

Just noticed that MMA (most current version) disappeared from Android Auto on my Samsung S21 FE 5G, Android 12. For certain after an update of AA to now version 7.8.622514.

So far MMA icon does not reappear in AA launcher settings. Various tries by e.g. restarting AA and MMA and even reinstalling Android Auto, did not bring the icon back to AA.

So, any clue what happened?

Thank you for pointing out, yes you are correct and unfortunately as I can't start AA on phone and my headunit it was now gone

Use ⋮ -> Developer options and enable Unknown Sources and MMA will be listed then

Dear

I have a pixel 6 with android 13 and Auto Car V 8.3.624134

I can't choose install unknow apps, It changed to following

example if i open an apk with "files by google" I have to give permission to 'files by google" to install it
If i open it with an other media browser i have to give that app also permission.

Neither Android auto or MM are in the list for giving permissions.

What am I doing wrong?

In order to make Developer Options visible you need to do something like https://developer.android.com/studio/debug/dev-options this?
