My computer is running 5.0.3.2627 and I am constantly running into an issue where there is MULTIPLE background operations running, play count won't generate as music plays and it gets to the point where MM won't even close when (Close) X is activated. My course of action 90% of the time to close media monkey is by Ctrl-Alt-DLT and ending the 3-8 tasks related to media monkey. Please help

Would this happen after closing and restarting MediaMonkey a few times (in the same Windows session)? Which version of Windows and MediaMonkey (Help > About) are you using?
