Renamed Playlist bug
Hi,
If you rename a playlist, then select a song and right mouse click for the context menu, the send to still has the old playlist name, not the new name.

I'm unable to reproduce on 5.0.4.2660 (unreleased). What exact steps reproduce this for you?

@MPG
The question of all questions: which version are you using?
EDIT 11:09: That reminds me, you refuse to use Alpha- and Beta builds.
Works perfectly with version 5.0.4.2659 Beta.
Step 1) Rename a playlist
Step 2) switch to node: All Tracks
Step 3) select a song
Step 4) Right mouse click for the context menu > Send to > Playlist (renamed playlist name will be displayed)

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Hi,
I am still having this problem. I ran a query to get all of the playlists in the database. Then took a snapshot of the context menu to show that it hasn't updated.
Hopefully you can find the pics here:

Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Seems to work correctly for me as well, using latest beta version.
Some of the listings shown on your screenshot appear to be "recently used" which one might expect to remain named as they were when they were last used?

Also works perfectly with version 5.0.4.2663 Beta.

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Guys, While it's great to hear that it has worked for you, it doesn't solve my problem. My context menu is showing the playlist "road trip" twice and it's a playlist that doesn't exist. How do I fix?
TIA

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Sorry, but you don't specify your MM version, nor your architecture (portable? NAS? internal drive)
As a Java scripter, you should include this important information in a signature.
For example by working with the latest MMW 5.04.2663 beta or "Optimize database"?

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
sorry, thought I provided that information earlier.
Win10
MMW: 5.0.3.2627 (I will not run beta versions so don't suggest that)

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Sorry, then you still have to live with a lot of bugs that have long since been fixed in the subsequent ALHA and beta versions.
And if I had known that they were working with such an old version, I would not have participated in this discussion.
This is exactly why specifying the version is so important. You can also see that in my signature.
Best regards

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Where are the names of the playlists stored for the context menus? Can it be changed in the database?
I can't run Beta's due to the complexity of my install. Each upgrade takes me a couple of hours to reconfigure to meet my needs. I'm also unwilling to take a change on a potentially unstable install.

Re: Renamed Playlist bug
Potentially unstable is Version 5.0.3.2627
BEFORE update create a database backup, if you don't like the new version, there is "restore database".
I ALWAYS make a System-Image only Drive C: from Windows before an MM update.
This also gives me the option of restoring my entire system "Restore from system image"
My windows configuration:
Drive C: only System and Programs
Drive D: data only (music, videos, excel and word files, photos...)
External drive (Samsung T7-SSD) to backup the data of drive D:
With an UPDATE you overwrite the existing installation. This takes exactly 2 minutes.
All settings, scripts, playlists, views .... are adopted.
Use the link in my signature. There you will also see the bugs(fixes) that have already been fixed.
