Hi everyone,
I'm looking at getting a NAS and would be happy to help beta MMS by implementing it on the NAS. After reading a few threads here, I'm unclear if MMS can run on the new Synology NAS or not.
Specifically I'm looking at grabbing a DS1522+, which has an AMD Ryzen processor. Can MMS successfully run on this or is it a non-starter?
Any other advice or threads I should look into before diving in?

Re: MMS on an AMD powered synology NAS
Hi,
It should work without any issues, try using x64 binaries first from SSH.
Let me know if you need more help, I'll give it my best even I have QNAP, but SSH terminal should be the same

Thanks!
I'm getting an error when trying to run mms:
I'm not sure what to do about this though. It seems to be unable to find itself to run setup process. If meaningful, I am running this on a synology NAS running DSM 7.1.1Unable to load configuration: Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, mkdir '/var/services/homes/Boss/MediaMonkeyServer'
SQL: path=/var/services/homes/Boss/MediaMonkeyServer/mms.db

Re: MMS on an AMD powered synology NAS
Hi,
Hmmm interesting, as it is NAS in question may I suggest opening support ticket, where we can go into more details without compromising NAS and expose it to outside access.
