MM5 not recognizing iPhone, and a ripping issue
Yes I'm new, but I've searched and searched and read and read...
Nothing I've read/tried resolves me not seeing my iPhone in MM5.
Ripping a cd. I did it once, no problem. Tried again, it appears to rip, but if I try to add the cd to MM using the rip location (I can see the files there), nothing is added. After scanning the new location it just says 0 files added.
Please help! Thank you.

Does iTunes (desktop version) see the iPhone? For more troubleshooting see: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... le-device/
What Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you using?
If you Rip the CD again, does MediaMonkey ask to overwrite the files?

Hi,
For latest Apple devices firmware you need to use latest MM5 builds https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d
NOTE: once you made MM5 recognize device updating to latest version should fix issues with firmware.

Re: MM5 not recognizing iPhone, and a ripping issue
Every time I fix one thing, something else breaks. Completely frustrating and infuriating.
MM5 recognized me iphone a little while ago, but now it won't. Stopped and started MM5. No help.
Running beta debug version 5.0.4.2675

Does iTunes (desktop version) reliably see the device?

I didn't check iTunes yet. But now it sees the phone... it seems to do what it wants when it wants. Pretty frustrating.

It could be an issue with the cable, the port or the phone that's causing this instability in connecting.

So, today it sees the iPhone, but once again says the music files are inaccessible. The path for the music is correct and accessible.
I can see the music on the phone, but the playlist is not there under Playlists.
edit-2 The music IS on the phone, but not under the Playlist name.
Again - completely frustrating.

Are you trying to access the files on the phone through MediaMonkey?

So on the phone itself you can't see content on Playlists? Have you done a re-sync of those Playlists since updating to MediaMonkey 5.0.4?

Re: MM5 not recognizing iPhone, and a ripping issue
The music from the MM5 playlist is now on the phone, mixed in with the music that was already on the phone. They are no user created/named playlists on the phone.
It’s sort of ok…. At least the music is there. I was trying to get my gal’s phone ready for an airplane trip.
