I am working in list by album view, running 2690, sorted by "Added, newest first" and the album I am dealing with is about 8 screens down from the top. Using Metro M skin.
Every time I apply a rating, whether I use the inline rating field, or use the rating shown at the bottom of the player, the entire main window shifts up or down by a line or two, which is very irritating.
It seems to do the same if I commit an edited tag as well.
Can anyone reproduce this??

Can you confirm what View are you using and which node in the Media Tree?

I'm unable to reproduce this behavior. Can you please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach this to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86643
