Top 25 most played

Top 25 most played
Tried searching "Top 25" before posting this, but "25" was automatically truncated with the search and there is a mega ton of searches returned with the word "top" in them, so do say I didn't try to research this one before posting this...
Top 25 Most Played does not populate. Fix?

Re: Top 25 most played
You see a "Top 25" option somewhere in MM5? And it is not working? Where do you see it?
You can see some limited (top 10) play statistics via the File>Reports>Statistics menu item.
You can see a Favourites playlist in the Playlists node in the Media Tree (left panel).
You can configure the playlist criteria by clicking this pencil icon.
See here I have configured to show the most played tracks.
I agree your frustration regarding the poor indexing of MM5 documentation. It is a lazy mess.

Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
Re: Top 25 most played
I'm guessing this is an auto-playlist.
Try right-click edit, and change the settings in the top row.

Re: Top 25 most played
Tried that after your suggestion. Did not work. This "should" be a playlist that auto-populates because it references a sum of consecutive numbers. I REALLY want this feature to work

Re: Top 25 most played
Hi,
For me it works flawlessly. I created Auto playlist with this criteria
And it shows my top Played Tracks, I also have few other playlists that show Top 25 played tracks with rating 4+ stars.
Only thing is that such playlist for obvious reasons do not Auto update realtime, but each time you reopen and/or press F5.

Re: Top 25 most played
What Criteria do you have set for this AutoPlaylist? You may have an added Criteria that filters out any matches.
In its basic form you only need to:
* Search Entire Library
* Limit to 25 files Selected by Played (most often)
With these 2 settings you should get the results you're looking for.

Re: Top 25 most played
This was automatically added to my playlist tree. It has always been there. I did not add it.

BTW - Is there a way to upload an image up to the forum directly? It is frustrating to have to use an outside host and the [img] feature not work.

That shows a Playlist, but doesn't show its Criteria.

Re: Top 25 most played
Yeah not sure what it is. Just part of the playlist tree. Has always been there. Just started caring about it. Will play with it and see what happens.

Re: Top 25 most played
Hi,
Based on you rpicture above, it looks like you created STATIC playlist instead of Auto-Playlist. You need to select NEW AUTO-PLAYLIST

Re: Top 25 most played
I think I figured out what it was. This had to be a playlist iTunes created and was migrated over to MM.
