Album art quality [#19813]
Hello. Hopefully an easy fix.
I have reluctantly moved on to MM 5 after YEARS of enjoying MM 4. However, as I move around and learn it's functionality, I am liking MM 5's new features and look.
So far am only having one issue. I have collected and maintained hi-def album art for all my albums and tracks. But have noticed my album art in MM 5 displays in "fuzzy" low quality.
Is there a fix / adjustment / view setting to correct this ?
Thank you in advance for any help or support.

Three things: Look for the album on this website
https://www.albumartexchange.com/
Look for the album on Discogs
https://www.discogs.com/
Buy a multi function printer and scan your own.
MM has always left a lot to be desired when it came to tagging album cover art.

Re: Album art quality
I do appreciate the suggestions. However, see below;
"Three things: Look for the album on this website https://www.albumartexchange.com/"
1. These are my album covers. Scanned on my have my own hi def capable scanner. Plus, don't care for the watermarks.
"Look for the album on Discogs https://www.discogs.com/"
2. No need. See # 1. Most on their website are not hi-def quality.
"Buy a multi function printer and scan your own."
3. Already own. See #1.
"MM has always left a lot to be desired when it came to tagging album cover art."
4. Actually, MM 4 displays my album art in hi-def no matter the size I choose.
Is it possible the album art source you have and are seeing could be low-def?

Re: Album art quality
Where in MediaMonkey do you experience this? In the Filelistings Grid Views, Filelisting Playing Album Art/3D Album Art view, Preview window, the Properties > Artwork tab?

Re: Album art quality
It's low quality when viewed as "List (by album)".
However, when you look at the Properties artwork tag, you can actually see the image is much sharper than other image views. Also, I did notice when in a grid view, after adjusting the image size, it does display in high quality.
Guessing I'll just have to live with it not in high def in the view I prefer.

Re: Album art quality
Do you have the Artwork showing much larger in the list by Album view than the Grid View?

Much larger, no. But larger, yes.

That will be a future release. Beta testing for the next version of MMW5 has not started yet, but development has.

All you have to do to remove the watermark on the album art exchange is to register. It's free

Just curious.
Couldn't this fix have been included in the recent update?

Re: Album art quality [#19813]
No, it was minor update to add iOS17 support only (it just updates a plugin). However the fix has been in the MediaMonkey 5.1 betas for a while.

Re: Album art quality [#19813]
Good day all.
Any update on when Build 2800 is released?
Would really like to have this fix w/o having to run a Beta version.
Thank you in advance.
