Alarms cause music to stop - Version 2.0.0.1068 [#19683]

I have a number of alarms to remind me to do stuff during the day when an alarm goes off the music stops whilst the alarm is ringing, once you delay or dismiss the alarm the music restarts, but occasionally when the alarms go off the music doesn't restart once the alarm has been dismissed and you have to go back to MediaMonkey to hit play

Hi,

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately, I'm unable to replicate with build 1068. I started playback and after a couple of minutes had any of the following occur to interrupt playback:
- Incoming calls
- Timer alarms (using the Google clock app)
- Regular alarms (using the Google clock app)

I also set Options > Show in notifications bar to 10s for all of the tests, and tested all of the above with playback through the speaker and over a bluetooth headset. In all cases, playback resumed after the call/alarm.

Any other hints about how to replicate? Could you share a log ID when this occurs?

Thanks!

-Rusty

Its very intermittent, how do I create the log and find this 'log ID' so that I can update you?

Right after it happens send a log from Settings > Help in MMA.

[EDIT: make sure to post the log ID in this thread]

What's the logID for the log you send?

Sorry totally forgot to activate the email setting of the crash logs. The title to the log is set appropriately and it should be within 5 to 10 minutes of my reply.

I now notice that you can actually read the Log ID without emailing, sorry forgot to do that. The log should come from a UK IP, and be around 10:40 GMT today

According to log 16BPFKU2B6, it looks like the stop action was received from your BT device. Are you able to replicate it without BT device?
Unfortunately, V6915KB2TI has not been delivered, if you are able to replicate it with the latest build, please send new the log.

Grgh, I really need to catch up on this thread before deciding not to send a follow up log when the timer stops the music, there was one this morning, but I stopped myself from sending another log.

Sending a log now, hoping it goes back far enough, it was about 09:30 UTC today : P5KHM14D24

Hi,
BT = BlueTooth device (headphones, Speakers, Car Head unit, ...)

I have seen that when I answer Call on My car head unit often playback do not continue, no matter if I use MMA or any other player.

My Bluetooth device is a BOOM3, its pretty dumb so I'm not sure why that would be happening.

Its stopped about 3 times today, Log ID: 4ZLD3VQVLS

Stonefree, is this still occurring for you on recent builds (e.g. 1084 or 1086)?

Thanks!
