Hi,
TheEmpathicEar wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 3:02 pm Why were you able to connect to your Marantz receiver w/o HEOS?
My best guess is taht Marantz Changed something in DLNA Communications so that Heos app can easily be used :( Prior to that they used plain DLNA Standard so I could use it normally.

The best would be to Generate MMA LOG id and also Generate MM5 LOG ID on same track so that Ludek and Michal can compare Packets communication and figure out "why and what is eating our chickens, if it is not a wolf".

EDIT: Marantz NA-11S1 is certified to be DLNA Renderer so it is possible that also have a say in compatibility.

Marantz has just become addicted to HEOS for some unknown reason??
EDIT: Where is the LOG in MMA? For MM5, you just want the LOG from DBGView?

Hi,
In MMA you can save the log by going to ☰ -> ? -> Send Logs (for safety do save and send log while writing down LOG IDs).

NOTE: Save log should result in ZIP file containing debug log information.

What do you mean by writing down LOG IDs?

The receiver connection to the router. Does it matter that it is wired [Ethernet] and not wireless?

No, that does not matter, as long as the wi-fi devices are allowed to see other devices on the network (often not allowed on guest wi-fi networks) you can use a mix of wi-fi/wired.

I have the latest Roku Ultra connected to my receiver. My phone, S22+, can connect via Bluetooth to it. Of course, this means all sound is playing through the Bluetooth connect? Not just music from MMA? I usually find volume can be tricky? Volume on the phone OR through the receiver OR both?
EDIT: Bluetooth is "Wonky". If you don't know what I mean you don't use it. One thing I noticed is on-screen the song title seems "stuck"? IOW, what is playing on the phone does not match what's on-screen. What's up?

If your device connects via Bluetooth, then all device sounds go through that. I wasn't aware Roku sticks/boxes could be connected to via Bluetooth.

Yep. I don't understand why on-screen song titles get "stuck"?

This could be a problem in the Roku. Are you able to test with any other screened Bluetooth devices? For me it works.

I need to know if you did anything special when connecting your phone? Or, if it was just straight forward pairing?
