MediaMonkey 5 hang

Hi,

In 2021 I tried version 5 of MediaMonkey which was then in version 5.0.1.2433, replacing the version 4 that I have been using for years.
I noticed several problems, the most annoying of which was a blocking of the interface which forced me to kill the MediaMonkey process.
I was on Windows 7 at the time and I thought that might be the cause of the problem since this OS is not officially supported by MM5.

I now have a new PC with Windows 10. I first installed MM4 on it and everything worked perfectly until my MediaMonkey Android upgraded to version 2 and recommended I use MediaMonkey Windows version 5.
So I gave MM5 another chance by installing version 5.0.4.2690, and...

The interface hangs again, just after restarting the PC and automatically launching MediaMonkey 5: the window is displayed but I can't do anything on it. Same problem with the icon in the notification area which does not respond to my clicks. The only thing I can do is resize the window:

I disabled graphic acceleration in Tools\Options\General\Performance: "Enable hardware acceleration (requires restart)".
I hope it will resolve my issue... EDIT: the issue is still here. I will try to have a debug log...

Hi,

The problem is random and since yesterday MediaMonkey had not been blocked again.
But today I wanted to test the MMRemote application with the installation of its server, and MediaMonkey 5 crashed several times a few seconds after its launch. I don't know if there is a link with MMRemote but I mention it just in case.

In short, I managed to save the DebugView log which recorded these steps:
opening MediaMonkey 5, crashing after a few seconds.
I did not find any log in AppData\Roaming\EureKaLab s.a.s (MediaMonkey 5 is still running).
I created a ticket and uploaded the log here: Ticket #5776

Hi,

It was caused by MMremote and it is now fixed in beta version1.8 :D
