Questions about audio files on MM

Can MP3 files be directly converted to other formats losslessly on MM? Or need an audio converter?

You can't convert LOSSY format Losslessly. MP3 is already degraded and any other conversion even to Lossless format degrades file further. Only benefit is that after conversion to lossless format it will keep quality unless you save it again top lossy format.
