[2810] Bug: Playlist view doesn't show current song playing

Every so often when I take a look at MM5 so see what track is playing I find the playlist view showing some song that played a while ago.

That works, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to observe in it. What exactly is it showing?

The playlist view doesn't show what is playing

Which Playlist View? There are 3 filelists in your screenshot. The Filelisting, the Playing and a Playlist panel.

The one with the highlighted text (whatever you call it).

It just happened to me again (with 2813). MM was playing a song I wanted to add to one of my personal playlists but the song wasn't showing in the "current playlist" view so I had to hunt through the list to find the track

The Playing window will scroll along with the playing file unless you scroll away from it. I've not been able to reproduce otherwise.

Note that there is a Hotkey (Tools > Options > Hotkeys) to jump to the playing file. Once this bug is fixed, you can also right click on the file in the Player to Send To a Playlist.
