I choose the tracks on Media Monkey (and play on Foobar through speakers) the tracks just stop playing at random. Sometimes the play bar will stutter back and forth while there is no audio. Sometimes the music will stop for 2 secs and then continue. If I play the track again from the beginning it runs as normal so I don't think the issue is with the track. Another factor is I'm running the laptop through a Optoma Nuforce DAC.
I've put the laptop in flight mode so there is nothing that can interrupt the system, memory is at 53%, DAC has a functioning cable, I've restarted the laptop. The pause/stop in music can happen at any time but if I play it again it might/or might not play successfully.
I've read that Huawei and MM have a bad relationship on phones but is this the case for laptops? Anyone successfully fixed this?
I'm at a total loss.
