Context Menu for Now Playing doesn't show

Hi,

I was looking for a way to clear my (probably huge*) now playing list and some forum posts indicated that I should be able to right click on the now playing list to get a context menu which would display a context menu allowing me to "Clear List".

However, on my system right clicking on a line in the now playing list instead briefly displays the properties panel that you get when selecting files in the main file listing. This is repeatable and does not appear to be intended behaviour.

I can remove lines from Now Playing via the windows-like process of selecting the start line, shift selecting the end line and pressing delete, but I'd rather have the context menu.

* My now playing list was probably huge because I've been running the system for a month or two with neither of my "now Playing" settings requiring clearing of the now playing list. I suspect that there might be some strange behaviour (fields being blanked, field edits not being accepted) associated with the now playing list being huge and will report further if it is reproducable.

I think it move to the three dots on the LHS of the title bar with "Playing x / yyy (hh:mm:ss)"

I do get a full right-click context menu in the now playing, with the choices being things to do with the currently selected track or tracks.

If I right-click in a blank area of the list, most of the choices are greyed out due to no selection.

The choices in the 3-dot menu do include clear, which is not part of the context menu.

So, it has not actually moved, it is just different. And you should be able to get a context menu.

the 3-dot clear function should work regardless of number of tracks there are.

Yes, Clear is part of the 3-dot menu on MediaMonkey 5.
