2813 Chrome Cast not working again

Sorry to report I am having lots of issues with chromecast "speaker turned off or not accessible" with this new version, after a couple of tracks have played. When I hit the play icon, the message says "stopping on LR Speaker". When I hit stop there is no message. When I restart MM, the speaker is available to be selected, but does not play.

There was mention of an interface to clear and reset these speaker settings but I can't find that yet.

I did allow the firewall access upon original installation. This is on a new HP windows 11 laptop.

Hate to say it, but VLC player on same pc plays without interruption.

Are you sure that VLC did not locked MM to access the player? You can't play on two players at same time.

I personally tested on my devices and can't replicate with 2813, even I manually forced killing of mDNS Can you please do two things:
1. build 2811 can play same track(s).
2. create debug log with 2813 viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643 and attached zipped log to support ticket.

Let me do some more testing for something reproducible.

After restarting everything (speaker, pc and mm5) it has now been playing fine for quite a few tracks with several stops starts and changed playing lists.

I don't think it has anything to do with any particular tracks, once it quits, then nothing will play anymore, and the same tracks it quits on, can be played just fine at other times.

After restart, VLC was still a bit quicker at detecting the presence of the speaker. Most times if I shut down VLC, then MM is able to pick it up again.

Great THX, much appreciated/ It woudl be great if we could find pattern.

I suspect on something like when you try to connect two devices on Same BT speaker/headphones and want to play from both at same time.
