Date created column missing from browsing views

Hi,

I always had my tracks sorted by Date Created, which corresponds to the Windows file creation date.

I had to move my portable MM installation to a new PC (doing a restore of C:\mediamonkey 5) which all seemed to work well.

What is strange however, is that the Date Created column is missing from all the views, and I can not add the column, because I can not find it in the columns to choose from the Properties column submenu. Ie, Date Created has gone missing!

Anyone knows why this is happening?

MediaMonkey does not have Date Created, only Added and Timestamp (Date Modified). Scripts do have access to date created from the file system.

If I click the link and then through to ticket https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18977, it appears that it is implemented. On an older system where I still have MM5 it is also missing, so I'm apparently mistaken.

It might however be useful to add as a column?

It's available to be used by Addons, not added to MediaMonkey itself.

This was the only reason I haven't purchased MM. It's almost absurd to see that it's still not implemented. Listening to digital download albums through sorting the 'recently added' (which seems it still has to be created by the user instead of default) by creation date of their folders is the best way for heavy listeners. And nobody would like to run scripts or take any additional steps to have such a simple and fundamental feature...with so many other player options out there.
