Downloaded a Gold License and upgraded to 5.0.4.2692. Also pushed my music library from locally on my laptop to a Synology NAS server. Had 3 days where the library was scanned and loaded (which took a while since it was ~ 13K songs) and worked nearly perfectly. Songs played fine, play counts updated ... album art updated sporadically but not consistently (meaning when I restarted the application most of the time album art that I looked up and applied/saved to the album didn't reappear upon reloading the application).
Day 4 comes around and now every song I click on is silent for a few seconds before moving to the next track and greying out the track. I've restarted the application, confirmed the server is fully up and running (I can locate the files and open then in other media players one off) but can't seem to get anything playing. The only thing I haven't done is delete the whole library and then reload everything all over again. While it might work, I'm concerned about why this issue happened to begin with and would hate to be in a situation where that is a common occurrence.
I've only had this NAS setup for a week - and everything is largely set up with default settings. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Did you scan via a Mapped Drive? If so, does the Path of files still show a drive letter in MediaMonkey?

Re: NAS Library Suddenly Stopped Working
I scanned via Mapped Drive:
Add/Rescan Files to Library --> Add Location (dropdown) --> Choice of Local Storage / Network Storage / Media Server / Cloud Storage.
The media server has remained visible the entire time. In fact even with the library indexed files no longer playing, I could still see the media server on the left hand file tree under 'Devices and Services' and I could search the folders there and play files.

Hi,
Based on your description it appears that Mapped drive got reassigned or you do not have access to it. That is why we always suggest to use UNC/Network path instead of Mapped drive.
The reason you see NAS on Devices and services is because MM is picking up DLNA server Service from NAS.
Here is what I suggest and should be fastest way:
1. Use file explorer to navigate one media folder from NAS (Address bar should look like this "\\MYNAS\Music\"
2. Copy that Address
3. Open MM -> Tools -> Library -> Collections and enable Entire library
4. Use File -> Add tracks -> Add location -> Network and paste copied link -> Add
5. Scan the NAS
6. Go to Entire library -> Location
7. Delete your previously scanned mapped drive (that will clear out all duplicates and make all your tracks play again)
You are good to go now.
Happy Monkeying!

Media Server and Mapped Drives are not recommended to be used. As Peke mentioned, UNC Paths scanned via Network is what is recommended.
You didn't answer if MediaMonkey shows the drive letter. Presumably not (Windows has a habit to change driveID's for Mapped Drives, which shouldn't happen), which can be fixed by re-assigning drive in MediaMonkey when this happens (not a problem with UNC Paths).
