Hi there- I made the jump from MM 4.X to MM5 today. I know, late to the party...
I feel like I'm missing something critical with autotagging here though. In 4.x, you could select which aspects of the metadata to tag, based on the source- For instance, if you musicbrainz has an incorrect year, or bad metadata for track number, you can opt to use what you already have, instead of pulling EVERYTHING from musicbrainz.
In MM5, I can't seem to find how to do this. For example, I ripped "Works for Harp" by Alan Hovhaness. When autotagging, everything in Musicbrainz is good, except for some reason the track number is borked- It says every track is track 6. I would like to toggle off tagging the track number, and tag everything else. The interface as far as I can tell has adopted an "all or nothing" approach however, and assumes that everything about the data source is correct- which in my experience, is rarely the case.
What am I missing? How do I specify which metadata to tag, and which to ignore when using the auto-tag feature in MM5?
autotag- select which metadata to tag?

Re: autotag- select which metadata to tag?
Ah, I see, thank you! I seemed to have missed that.
So it correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like the workflow in MM5 is as follows:
1: select album-->autotag
2: wait for autotagging to run
3: Carefully examine results. Make note of anything wrong
4: exit autotagging
5: Open tools-->Options-->Metadata lookup
6: edit audio metadata section to omit offending metadata for said album
7: save and close options; select album-->autotag
8: wait for autotagging to retag album
9: apply tags
10: rinse, lather, repeat for each album in database
whereas in MM4, the workflow was as follows:
1: Select album-->autotag
2: wait for autotagging to run
3: toggle off offending metadata within autotagging window
4: apply tags
It seems to me like MM5 has made this exponentially more clicky, but perhaps I am not understanding the workflow or the novelty/utility of the feature's new location...

Re: autotag- select which metadata to tag?
Step 4 you click Options in Auto-Tag which allows you to select/deselect columns. No need to exit Auto-Tag and redo it.
