Opening more than 15 tracks at once (Win 10)

Post by Robotron2084 »

Apologies if this has been answered already, I've searched the forums but can't find a solution.

I've just moved from an old laptop with Win 7 to a new one with Win 10.

Previously, I was able to select thousands of tracks in a folder and play them all in MM5, now, if I select more than 15, only one plays.

I appreciate this may be to do with Win 10 settings, but any help (and a easy solution) would be very much appreciated, thanks! :D

Are you selecting in File Explorer instead of MediaMonkey itself? If so, are you selecting files in a folder or several folders? Also, which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey?

Hi

5.0.5.2695

Selecting files with either File Explorer or MM, has the same effect.

I have MM set as the default player.

So, for example, I will go into a folder (with File Explorer) with multiple tracks, select them all and click 'open'. If there's more than 15, it will play only one.

If I select more than 15 in MM, then none will play.

Previously, on my old Win 7 laptop (RIP!) I could select all tracks in a folder (say, 5000+) and hit 'open' an MM would just open them all at once.

Thanks :)

1. For File Explorer, please try the latest MediaMonkey 2024 build. Let us know if this doesn't fix the issue.

2. For MediaMonkey, please see the following likely cause: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... s-to-play/
