MMW5 Keeps Playing in Sleep Mode

MMW5 Keeps Playing in Sleep Mode
Whenever I wake my Windows 11 machine up from sleep mode, MediaMonkey is playing music, and the playlist has progressed dozens of songs forward from where I last was when I walked away. I almost always stop the music before it goes into sleep mode from idle or I press the lock button on my keyboard. Can't really understand how this happens, since I thought sleep mode wouldn't be able to do this, but it happens all the time. Any ideas?
Re: MMW5 Keeps Playing in Sleep Mode
Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey and are you saying sleep mode was started while MediaMonkey was paused, MediaMonkey is playing when waking up the PC?

Re: MMW5 Keeps Playing in Sleep Mode
Build 5.0.5.2695
MediaMonkey is paused when Windows 11 goes to sleep. Most of the time, I know I'm walking away from my desk for a while, so I pause MM and then press the lock button on my keyboard (shortcut for WIN+L). Sometimes I just walk away, but MM is paused in those scenarios too. 15 minutes later, my PC goes to sleep due to inactivity. When I return, an hour or two later, I have to wait a few seconds for the machine to come out of sleep mode and give me the lock screen to enter my password. Sometimes on this screen, I can see a little mini window in the bottom right corner that tells me MediaMonkey is playing. Sometimes, it's not there. Either way, when I log in, it's definitely playing -- and not only is it playing, it has advanced hours forward in my playlist. It's not logical that it could actually play while in sleep mode, so I don't know if it skipped a bunch of tracks because it couldn't find them on the disk during the waking process or something else is happening? I also don't know what's triggering it to start playing in the first place, after I've very clearly paused it.

Re: MMW5 Keeps Playing in Sleep Mode
Improvements to Windows Sleep handling have been included in MediaMonkey 2024. Can you please let us know if the issue persists on MediaMonkey 2024.
