It would be very nice to be able to apply the ability to "lookup image..." for a Genre, in the same way that this is available for other fields. Any thought to allow the user to have the ability to store custom images for each genre?
At present, it seems the Genre thumbnail is randomly generated.

Not sure I understand what you want to archive, Genre is multi valued text tag and do not support images. In grid views Genre images are generated based on Album Arts from tracks in Genre.

Thanks for responding and sharing an example. In the example image,
- Acid Punk and Alternative Faves do not have a thumbnail
- Acid Trance, Acoustic Ballad and Alternative Rock / Pop R.. each have their own thumbnail
- All others, it seems the software attempts, to create a collage image to represent the Genre.

It would be great if these thumbnails were able to be custom defined by the user in the same way that Artist/Actor/Director ect already supports. Is there a location these thumbnails are stored or pulled from which would be able to be adjusted for this functionality? If not, I'm curious how the current logic works to generate the genre thumbnail.

Because all tracks in that genre do not have Album art

These all have only tracks that all have same Album art

You are correct in that too.

This is not possible as Genre Arts are generated and can't be added manually. Artist/Actor/Director are fixed values and can be easily searched online. While it is possible to add custom images of Genres I am thinking to set this for future updates in order to be able to get custom imags in Skins eg. like https://pngtree.com/so/music-genre or https://www.google.com/search?q=Music+Genre+images

MM generate collage of available imaged 1/4/9 based on available images from tracks in Genre.
