I submitted an add-on for MediaMonkey5. It's similar to the Similar Artists by trixmoto in MM4. How long do approvals usually take?

Unfortunately your submission had no .MMIP file attached, thus can't be approved.

I'm trying to get my auto update to work in MM5/2024 (i'm running 2024.2.1.3201)
the addons check updates finds my update but when i try to install from the addon dialog I get an error message
"invalid addon: on valid for MM 4.x"
dblclicking on the same .mmip file installs properly, i'm thinking this a MM5 bug?
my info.json (spaces added to the URL so i can post it)
{
"title": "Similar Artists",
"id": "SimilarArtists",
"description": "Create/enqueue playlists of similar artists using Last .fm and your MediaMonkey library.",
"version": "1.1.2",
"minAppVersion": "5.0.0",
"type": "general",
"author": "rimparato",

I pushed version 146, same code as 145 just updated the tag and new release build in github. after seeing the update, the install button in your screenshot is failing.
Another thing to note, I had to open devtool (ctrl+shift+alt) and clear/disable the cache on the network tab to see the new version show up, it seems the check for updates is using the local chrome cache and doesn't see the new update.json file

oh great, thanks.
I was reading the ticket and it seems that the update panel was still using the trixmoto Similar Artists MM4 addon. Should I rename my MM5 addon so there is no confusion? I'm adding more functionality to search for similar tracks and similar genre, maybe a new name would be appropriate.
thoughts?

Problem is bit deeper, but changing Addon ID to for example "MoreSimlilarArtist" should help. This should be resolved very soon amd it will be more clear then.

If you want for testing...
I've created a new addon "Match Monkey", I've published 2.0.7 to MM addon page. Once approved you can install that. I have version 2.0.8 on the update repo (exact same code, just new version number).
currently in MM2024 (same version I've been using), I try to update, it finds the update, clicking the download button produces "invalid addon! Error reading zip". the .mmip file can be installed manually no problem

We are still tweaking it a bit, so expect changes before 2024.2.1 gets out.
