Retried and it worked
The error message said "installation error" or something like that
Btw, thx for the script man
Ah, and I'm running Xp.

This is script works great; thank you.
I've got a slightly different request. I've got a few tracks, mostly people talking, that I'd like never to crossfade when they finish, whatever the next track is. Thanks again.

good one!
I'll create a setting so you can input genre names that will never be crossfaded out of
how's that sound?

Re: Forget Crossfade Script [MM3] -(auto crossfade switching)
Thanks for the quick reply again. I really need that feature! I should have spent time learning how to write scripts.
As a luxury, I realize that it'd even be good to prevent crossfade BEFORE a track. That's definitely right down on the want list though.
Anyway, this script is very useful as it is so thanks very much.
PS. I would support this script being implemented in MM natively. Then it would just need to be a checkbox in the Options right? It doesn't matter to me but this script is such a simple good idea...

Re: Forget Crossfade Script [MM3] -(auto crossfade switching)
hi guys, do any scripters out there know if it is possible to change how mediamonkey levels the playback volume...?
I would like to implement this into forget crossfade so that it automatically switches between album leveling and track leveling, however I can't seem to find a function for it.
http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... er_members
is there not one?
thanks,
Dale.

I love the MediaMonkey player, but it bugged me that the beginning of the next track always plays over the end of the last track. This feature is called "crossfading," but it was not clear to me how to adjust it. Here's the path to the crossfading settings...
Tools | Options | Output plug-ins | MediaMonkey DirectSound output | Configure
OR to turn crossfading off entirely, go to the Play menu and uncheck the option Crossfade.

Hi Beemer, not sure what you're trying to say..
but at any rate, I've posted a comment there - thanks for the link.
