Track number (track#) unsynchronized in APE files [#5556]

Hi MM folks,

[added later]
using MM 3.1.0.1240
[/added later]

here is what I did:
- changed some tags in a big amount of files (artists' names, album name correction and also one-digit track numbers changed to two-digit track numbers -- done by RegExp Find & Replace 3.4 w/ 101 presets (2009-04-14)[MM2+3], mainly)
- checked the 'Unsynchronized' node, a number of files appeared
- cleaned tags and synchronized them with the library
- a number of files remained, so far I can see all of them APE format and only the track number (Track#) is highlighted as unsynchronized
- have cleaned and synced once more, no change.

Any suggestion what should I do or try to sync the Track# into those APE files (and have the Unsynchronized node empty)?

Same issue with ape files here using 3.1.0.1240

Another thing... I fixed the case of the words in some album and track titles (from "The" to "the", "And" to "and" ...) and after that these tracks shows up as unorganized. The filenames and folder structure is not updated accordingly as long as the only change is the case of of the words.
MM is set to autimatically organize during scan and edit. Im running WinXP SP3...Could this be a Windows Issue?

Re. APE files not being synched, I'm able to reproduce this. It seems that our ape tagging implementation doesn't differentiate between 08 and 8 (and always stores the tag as 8 ).
Issue tracked at: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=5556

Re. the second issue re. filename case, it's a windows issue. Although Explorer can display a difference between x.mp3 and X.mp3, the OS doesn't actually differentiate between the two.
