Loving the skin - thank you. One question. When I pull up the properties window for a track or tracks, the background of what was there before gets stuck into what should be just black in the window. Any idea how to fix this?

Some graphical issues in the past have been linked to graphic card/chip drivers. You might see if yours needs an update? Example here.

thanks for the reply. I do have an NVIDIA card, but I also have an Intel chip - it's a thinkpad with the Optimus system. MM is being rendered by the Intel chip. So, not sure if that's the problem. I'm all up to date with my drivers, though Lenovo is notoriously slow in releasing their home-baked versions of the graphics drivers. Hard to know what's going on, though it's interesting that nobody else seems to have this issue. Also, why would I have this issue with the Vision skin, and not other skins?

Is there a way to make the skin (if it is skin-related) to display a song/file title (above seek bar) by the same rules as I have in my "Playback rules". I have specified the rules to display the file name, when there's no metadata in the file, an episode number, if an episode of a series don't have title, etc. But these apply only to the summary information - the player still still displays a sad " - " line. It displays information only if the file have the artist and title meta-tags. I think that's not a good way to do this, as displaying an artist/director's name for video files is absolutely unnecessary compared to series title/episode number ets.

Hope there's a way to solve it. Thanks in advance.

You can open the skin mskn with a zip prog.
and locate the player.ini,
open this with a editor like notpad++
and rename

save the changes ,
zip all files and rename zip to mskn
this should work

Another thing: is it possible to change the font color in the art&details window? Right now the font is as black as the background, so you can't really see any text.

Yes, since MM version 1632 it's possible to change this text color,
open theme.mskn with ThemeEditor7 and change the color under "Fonts/WindowTextNormal"

Hm,
curious , because this background use the searchbar Bg / Client
( Themeeditor / Edit /Frame / Client ) and should look like this !
I guess there is a Windows Vista, MM conflict / problem.
