Find Currently Playing Track 1.3 (2013-11-09) [MM2+]
Re: Find Currently Playing Track 1.2 (2012-02-14) [MM2+]
Thanks for this man. There could be a thread (it could get sticky) - Turn on, Plugin, check out (or something more usefully descriptive perhaps) containing recommended plugins (is invert selection a plugin? Just doing a fresh install)
Re: Find Currently Playing Track 1.2 (2012-02-14) [MM2+]
Is there a way to assign a hotkey/keyboard shortcut to this?
Grateful noob

This script does not appear to work in MM 4.0
Or, at least, it did until I upgraded to gold. Then it started throwing a lot of errors.
When I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, it just failed to work at all.
Sad, as I've used it for years, and have failed to find a work-around.
Thanks for all your awesome work on MM scripts over the years!

It works in MM4 Gold on my computer just fine. Most probably you did something more than just upgrade to gold. It could help if you gave some more information about the problem. When you reinstalled it, did you get its toolbar item and the corresponding Options sheet at all? Do you have turned on the "Enable automatic finding of currently playing track" option? Do you have enabled the "Find containing folder within Location node" option and, if you have it, do you have the Entire Library node visible in the Media Tree?JimJames2 wrote:This script does not appear to work in MM 4.0

I just tried and it finds track inside My Computer branch just fine. You should be more specific. What do you mean by "play from Desktop"? Do you have playing track displayed in Now Playing panel or not?Fram wrote:I have selected the option to find in "My Computer" but it doesn't find what i play from Desktop. How i can resolve this ?

Re: Find Currently Playing Track 1.3 (2013-11-09) [MM2+]
So, i play a file from a folder from My Computer via Explorer -> it will open in MM -> i will press button "Find currently playing track" -> it will work and find the track inside My Computer branch just fine.
If i play a file from Desktop it won't work.
If i play a file from Desktop it won't work.

I don't understand what you mean by "Desktop". There is no such thing in MM. If you are talking about Windows Desktop, which player are you using to play such file?Fram wrote:If i play a file from Desktop it won't work.

scenario 1.Fram wrote:i play a file from a folder from My Computer via Explorer.....If i play a file from Desktop it won't work.
You play a file from a folder in explorer.
scenario 2.
You play a file that is directly sitting on your desktop and not in a folder or part of an album set.
1. In both scenarios you are using MM to play the file. You just click on it and the associated program, MM, plays it.
2. While MM is playing the track, you click on "Find Currently..." (set to find in My Computer).
3. scenario 1. works, but scenario 2. does not.
Is the file in scenario 2 in your library? Did you make a copy of a file in your library to the desktop?
