Right side louder?!?! = /

Post by Rammstein874 »

I use my Logitech G35 headset for music but when i updated to 4.0.0.1423 i hear my music on the right side the most...I just updated to 1433 to see if that would fix it but nothing...

But when i turn on the Surround Sound it works but it sounds like crap

Anyone else get this problem?

You're balance might be off.

In that case it sounds like there might be something wrong with your headphones.

Hi Rammstein,

In case it isn't a problem with the headset itself, I can suggest 2 other possibilities:

1) If you use headsets exclusively with MediaMonkey, and the problem is only with MediaMonkey and not in other apps, then you can adjust the balance either by:
a) installing a skin that has balance control
b) modifying the .ini file so as to be able to adjust balance via the numeric keypad

2) If the problem occurs with all apps that you use your headphones with, check the settings at Control Panel > Sound. Select Headphones, click the Properties button, and then on the 'Levels' tab, set the balance (instructions are for Win7).

I didn't know about that feature.
It looks really good. It is a pity the skins don't make use of these features more.
I especially like the ability to move back and forward 5 seconds.
I use another player that has the ability on the skin to move back and forward 10 seconds with each click.

One other question about this great feature, Rusty
What does the "<+> : Show 'Now Playing' " do?
I don't notice anything when I press it.

It looks like the '+' isn't working--it should toggle the Now Playing list.

Not worth fixing, though--it's not a really useful feature anyhow. I'll just update the KB article.

Thanks.
