Yes, that is right. For the track artist use <trackartist>.

I am trying to install your addon but after trying to install it by double-clicking the .mmip-file MediaMonkey says it has not been installed. Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure you choose the option to install for the current user only during installation.Guest wrote:I am trying to install your addon but after trying to install it by double-clicking the .mmip-file MediaMonkey says it has not been installed. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.2 - Updated 26/10/2013
need a little help.
I'm using MM for my movie collecties (films and series).
I have used <Director> to make a difference (film,epi, epi.dub,extra)
13. Rename linked artwork to mask
<path>\$if(<director>=='film',$if(<season#>,F<season#:2>) <title> (<date>),<series> S<season#:2> (<date>)).jpg
output:
# Track Images to rename
1 F01 Alien (1979 - DVD - En-Nl).mp4 M:\Alien-Predator\Alien\$if(=='film',$if(,F)
Can Someone help me to find the right script?

Using trying to use the MM auto-organise mask fields in this script, but this script does not support them. For example, $if won't work, and or will using :2 at the end.

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.2 - Updated 26/10/2013
Trixmoto,
Thanks for the time and effort you've put into this script.
I've had mixed success with it, though. Please forgive me for not reading all 50 pages of this now epic thread, but...
90% my mp3 files have artwork embedded, and of those, 99% have that artwork identified as "Cover (front)".
What I WANT to achieve is artwork in BOTH the mp3 APIC field, AND in the folder. This is so that upon syncing to an Android device, the folder artwork is used in the Android playback app of choice. I've found that some Android media apps don't read embedded artwork from mp3 files, which I find a grievous oversight, but that's a rant for another day...
Please see attached 2 jpeg screen caps.
The first is the way I've got the options set in AAT.
The second is the follow up dialogue box.
Now, if my understanding is correct, AAT is supposed to extract a jpg from ONE of the files and ignore the rest (because they would be duplicates). Have I misunderstood something?
At the moment, it's not extracting ANY jpegs at all.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You have the image type set to "Other" (bottom right corner). You'll need this set to "(ANY)" to possibly "Front cover".

Ahhh, ok.
Thanks for that. I'll try it out when I get home tonight.

Recently I ran a process and now I have 2 and sometimes 3 "blank" artwork before the good artwork. In Properties it displays the Music sigh. In Art&Details it displays the blank piece of film.
My question .. is there a way for AAT to remove those? In bulk I hope ..

Is it possible to change the image viewer so that it would be possible to
1) stop going through a selected list
2) allow a DELETE button
Thanks

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.2 - Updated 26/10/2013
Great script! I was especially looking for something like the "11. Embed artwork (convert link to tag)" feature...
Now I've got a problem though: I had to stop execution by quitting MM recently, because it would've taken too much time to go on, and I needed the PC otherwise. Since then the script always tells me (after checking all the files) that it thinks there's nothing to do anymore - which is quite wrong cos there are still many files with unembedded artwork... How come? Does the script store an index anywhere which it later accesses, thinking cos I already had it running once that all's done already, but missing that I interrrupted it? Or how can I force it to work again?
BTW, what would be great for this option is a "skip files that already have embedded artwork" toggle button!
Thanks,
MaW

Re: Album Art Tagger 5.2 - Updated 26/10/2013
Never mind the previous problem. It wasn't the script but MM itself that lost the cover art links. Did a full file rescan; after that the script worked again as well.
