This add-on provided MM4 with a powerful editing tool for finding and replacing metadata about media files. Such a utility is not available in any other Media manager software that i am aware of.

It is unfortunate that addons like this cannot easily be ported to MM5 & i think it is a big ask to expect the developers of these addons to completely rewrite their applications so that they are compatible with MM5

Whilst i can the benefits of the new MM5 I also see that much has been lost.

I am asking the MM developers to implement support for this add-on in MM5.

RegEx is absolutely invaluable and I still haven't moved to MM 5 because it isn't available as an add-on. I'll stay with 4 forever.

I second this and note that nothing is available in MM5/MMW2024 to replace Linked-Tracks (which unfortunately no longer seems to exist as an add-on) an essential facility for playing classical music. MM4 for me, too.
