Changed to a dark skin but it's still white
Hey,
well, the title says what my problem is.
I googled a lot to get an answer but I didn't find anything.
I downloaded a few dark skins for MediaMonkey and installed them. After that the skin is active, so the forms and boxes all have the new skin, but the background color is still white and the text is black.
And this happens me with every skin I download and install.
Just at very severel times when I restart my PC and start MediaMonkey it is dark. But why? What did I do different in this situation?
And how can I make it dark for all time?
Would be very thankful, if anybody can help

Hello Margeritha,
Tools> Options> Skin
Activate the particular skin and disable entries:
"Override Skin Theme" and
"Override Backgrounds"
Restart MM (after every skin-change)
The same applies after every update.

Do you use MonkeyRok?

I do NOT use MonkeyRok and then it looks like this to me:

First dowload the file(s) to wherever you want to store them.
Create folders for each in their respective locations, ie, MediaMonkey>Scripts>MonkeyRok>Skins or Themes>Abrax
Unzip and extract the respective files to the newly created folders.
All done. Works the same for Song Information Panel, too.

Do you have a portable installation?
Which MM version?
Which version of Windows?
Last chance:
Uninstall the skin
Restart MM
Download the skin again from the "Addon" menu https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... nce/skins/
Install as an extension
Restart MM ang change the Skin
UPDATE 23:14 -Change the font size

It looks like you're running MediaMonkey unskinned (option is disabled though). Reinstall MediaMonkey and make sure you allow Skins instead of Windows Theme in the installer.

Hello,
Today, I'm lauching MediaMonkey and it's "white" again...
I didn't used it since last week and I didn't installed anything... Do you have an idea on what could cause this issue ?

Re: Changed to a dark skin but it's still white
I've juste reinstalled it > Black skin.
I close MediaMonkey, I re-open it > White skin and impossible to change it like before !
So I have to reinstall it for each use...

Ok, I think I've found the issue :
I don't know why, but my shortcut was wrong : "[...]MediaMonkey\MediaMonkey (non-skinned).exe"
I've never set this...
I've re-generated the shortcut and all is dark again !
