Tools -> Options -> Auto Organize

All tracks that match the filter criteria you specify will be auto-organized into the file mask you've specified.

Don't get me wrong....I'm a huge fan of MM but this program (The Godfather) works better for mass renaming of files. Once you set the parameters it's one click of a button. 8)
... as it is with MediaMonkey. You can even set MM to auto-organize in the background for you.
Would you mind going into a little more detail as to how that works please? I've been using MM for over a year, awesome program by the way but I've not been able to figure that one out.

Thanks!

That would be because you're in an album art view, which always shows album. Switch to the details view and you can add or remove the album column.

Do you mean when choosing columns? Album is available from the tree nodes.
Yes, but it doesn't show up because it's either greyed out and unavailable to choose when I right click the columns or it's astericked when I go to the Tree node menu.

Not quite sure what you mean. It should work for changed paths and filenames. What exactly is the problem you're seeing?
Nevermind, I didn't see that you had to choose a new path from the drop-down menu

When mass renaming (Tools > Auto-Organize Files), why doesn't it work if you've changed paths?

Thanks again. Is there a way to keep a folder's files expanded instead of only being able to see 7 tracks at a time?

edit:

I tried again, right click and 'save as' then open the zip file and drag the 'itunes' folder to the \program files\mediamonkey3\skins\ folder
Thank you! It worked visually, but the actual player (play/pause/back/next buttons) doesn't seem to want to work. Do yours work with this skin?
Download the version listed here.

In the meantime, I'll update the wiki...
