I am running MM Gold 3.1.0.1247. A strange thing started happening four days ago.
I have started seeing this notification alert pop up quite a lot. It looks like this:
Here are the details of the circumstances under which the message appears.
(1) I am editing the properties of any track.
- If editing track properties via right-click, Properties - the alert window appears as soon as I confirm changes (either by clicking Previous, Next, or OK)
- If editing track properties "inline" via F2 - the alert window appears as soon as I confirm changes (either upon Tabbing to the next field, or pressing Enter)
(2) I am making any rating changes
to any track, be it the one currently playing, or not.
Also important to note:
The track which is referenced in the alert window is
always the track that is currently playing at the time, even if absolutely no changes were made at all to the track currently playing. Curiously, this behavior carries over into instances where there is no track playing. In the instance where no track is playing, the alert window still appears with identical predictably as I have described above, but the alert window instead references whichever track was played most recently. I can confirm this same behavior occurs regardless of whether I ceased playback using
Pause or
Stop.
I apologize for having been so long-winded with this post, but to aid in troubleshooting the problem, I wanted to make certain I was being both clear and comprehensive. Any and all help or insight is very much appreciated.
