hi! I just discovered Media Monkey thanks to the LAME site and I can't believe I haven't seen it around more, it's awesome! Thanks you guys muchly!
I already have one small feature request though... I noticed another
request some time ago for different icons for each type of file. I think maybe this would be a good idea, but I would settle for TWO file types and icons: one for media files, as in all the files that contain actual sound data, the other for playlist files such as m3u files.
Also if you are not going to generate different file types (as in "MediaMonkey MP3 file", "MediaMonkey OGG file", "MediaMonkey WMA file" etc, it might be a good idea to include a script or instructions in the install for un-hiding file extensions. In Windows, file extensions are (stupidly IMO) hidden by default, so an un-savvy user (ie the majority) would suddenly see all MM associated files as just MediaMonkey files and unable to tell the difference between them.
