If you're using one of the others (not None), you can right-click the section header to select something else. Vyper explained above how to set it via the options panel.Thanks, I found it!
Very Cool!!!

Yeah, Vyper, you posted how to set via Tools > Options and I explained how to change it from within the MR window directly. Just another method I thought worth posting. No biggie.Vyper wrote:<--- Is miffed .... did I not already post what your problem was including a screenshot?![]()

Great add on, yet i have 2 queries.
1. Why can't i get rid of favourites?
2. How can i limit how many tracks from an album are listed? this actually ruins monkey rok for me
all the various artists songs i have that arent from a various artists album, have the album name of N/A and if one of those songs is loaded to monkey rok, i get a 30 second freeze whilst it attempts to load and list the 1689 tracks that fit into this category, can you imagine?

It would be great if this could be fixed. Even altering the ActiveX controls settings doesn't work for me. But I would rather not to have to change that anyway. But great work all the same.peterjones19 wrote:Looks good.
The only problem I have is that when it starts up I get a pop-up saying that "An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?"
This is when using IE7 with the default settings. I've tried playing around with the browser settings but can't seem to stop it happening.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
@Piko - at the moment if you want to hide the favourites panel completely you'll need to edit the skin. I might see about adding options for some of the panels in the next version though. I would say this was more of a data problem really, as all these tracks are not in the same album. I don't think it would really make sense to only show X tracks on an album really.
@dypsis - unfortunately I don't work for Microsoft so this is not something I have any control over. Make sure the changes to the ActiveX settings you make are in the "My Computer" zone - you'll need to amend the registry directly.

ok cheers for the reply Trix,
How does everyone else handle their various artists that aren't from an album in relation to monkey rok? I could change the album name of "N/A" for such songs to "Various <artist>" however that's going to ruin my album cover view of my collection? I can't be the only one with this problem?

If I have any tracks that truly aren't from albums (never released on an album, compilation or soundtrack of any sort) they go under the album name [non-album tracks] but I have very few of those. I really don't listen to "loose" tracks so all of mine have albums associated with them. Those few loose tracks I do have get tagged with their associated albums once I find out what they are.

Personally I leave the album name blank on these tracks, which causes MM to group them into an album (with an AdlbumID) but my script ignores these albums.
You could modify the script by replacing all occurrences of......with......but you'd have to be careful, a straight "Replace All" would probably break something!

As far as not seeing any biographies goes, I guess it's possible that you don't have the "Microsoft.XMLHTTP" component - what version of IE do you have installed?
Don't know anything about this component you mentioned, just that the other options of MonkeyRok work without problems, just this biography one not.
Well you gave me the wrong syntax Trix
though i had a look and found the code...
'current album
Sub UpdateCurrentAlbum()
Dim SDB : Set SDB = CreateObject("SongsDB.SDBApplication")
Dim cursong : Set cursong = SDB.Objects("RokSong")
If cursong.AlbumName = "N/A" Then <==== Added N/A into ""
Call Skin_Hide("current_album")
Set SDB = Nothing
Exit Sub
End If
and fixed! thanks for the motivation to pull my finger out and alter the script myself
