Script for Original Release Date?

I am curious if there is a script around that could get Original Release Date data from Amazon and add it to my tags in MM/DD/YYYY format?

yes they do have it listed in the detail view of the albums, i have seen it on there.

No, don't fully trust the Original Release Date of Amazon.
It's not always discography accurate. It's sometimes refer to Original Market Release Date instead.

For true ORD use Discogs.com or other web sites.

Then I guess the question is: Can anyone make a script that retrieves the original release date from discogs.org? In my collection the dates are probably in the most disarray of any of my tags. Thanks!

While that script does tag from Discogs all I can seem to get is YYYY not MMDDYYYY
