Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Hi Bex,
First of all, thanks for a great set of tools. I was put onto your script in reply to another question elsewhere in the forum and wish I had seen it sooner!
My request is this- do you have a method to 'invert' the filters. Here is an example and is what I am trying to do...
I want to make sure that a copy of the album art is stored in every track for an album. This is so that when I take a single track and put it on a portable the album art is still displayed.
I spent a long time putting the art into 'folder.jpg' in each directory and have used Trixmoto's album art script to add the art to the tags. The problem is that if there is already art in the tag it still adds another (so the total art count goes to 3).
I have tried using 'album art = 1' to filter the tracks (the '1' being 'folder.jpg) but this only seems to work at an album level- not on individual tracks.
There is a node for 'first album art in tag'- I really need a filter that will operate on a track by track basis that reverses this- so a list of all tracks which DO NOT have album art embedded.
I can then run Trixmotos script to import the art.
Of course there may already be a way to do this, so any solution gratefully received.
Thanks,
Nick

Thanks!
I'm currently looking into this this script and especially the Album Art stuff. I don't know when but eventually there will be an update!

I look forward to it- keep up the good work!

Go to MM's ordinary Node, press F2 and change it!Galaxian wrote:Re: Tagging inconsistencies script:
How do I fix the node inconsistencies easily (Node vs Track Case Inconsistencies). Tracks are correct, node is wrong.
TIA

Bex,
All the inconsistencies relate to the track composer and it is not possible to expand the native composer node!

The artist node is correct.
The script indicates that the track composer (which is correct) does not agree to the node (incorrect). These incorrect nodes do not appear under the native artist node. The native composer node cannot be expanded (i.e. it does not have a side arrow in the native tree). So there is nothing to F2.

Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
I see, but if the script finds a Composer then it has to exist in your database. Perhaps you have a Filter activated in MM making the Composers node not to be expandable?

That, or try double clicking on the Composer node to expand. Sometimes the little "+" to expand it will disappear on some nodes.
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
To option to expand was available after restarting MM. Not sure why it would disappear.

Bex,
This plug-in is top notch. I have been building my MP3 collection since 1998 so you have helped me find some obscure mistakes in my tagging collection that I have not been able to find with other tools. Just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work!!!
