I have been using MM and have a gold MM. I was wondering what everyone uses the "grouping" section of the tag editor for? I think iTunes uses it for compilations, but since I have all my compilations under Various Artists I don't see it very relevant. Or am I missing something?
Thanks
What do you use the "grouping" section for?

Re: What do you use the "grouping" section for?
Well I have just started to use the grouping field to group multiple artists who do different projects as well as their own work. Such as The New Pornographers, AC Newman. Neko Case. Kathryn Calder. I have also used it when I have a big box set with 5 or more dics. And each disc is named something different.

i believe it was added in for just the use of what ever the member wanted to add in to the tag to group it in their own personal way.
which is what you found out by the replys above.

Re: What do you use the "grouping" section for?
Actually I believe it's a field for classic music that is also useful outside that genre.
