1299 Viewing REPLAYGAIN tags

Post by chrisjj »

How may I view the MediaMonkey-created REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN and REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_PEAK trackfile properties in MediaMonkey itself?

Currently to check up, I have to use e.g. Mp3tag.

Thanks.

Why would you need that?

and if that is added than REPLAYGAIN_ALBUM_GAIN should be added also.

There's no better way to discover loudness by eye. No worse way either, actually :)

And loudness is quite important to pre-check in material from which I DJ.

Agreed, though not needed by me.

Hello
I'm not sure what the replay gain tags are.
Can you explain.
I only have experience with the Mp3Gain program.
Do these tags show in Mp3Gain?

Thank you.

They are tags created by Analyse. See the Tag Format Reference.

I'm having trouble finding this information on internet. Could you point me to some link please?

Thank you.

Thank you. I found it.
I see: replaygain_track_gain, replaygain_track_peak, replaygain_album_gain

Do these correspond to the headers in this screenshot?

I guess reply_track_gain == Track Gain but no more.

So what mediamonkey shows under "Track Volume" is REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN. Right? :-?
