Script for adding artistpicture

Post by Dutchronnie »

I wonder if there is a script which search the internet for a artist picture and add this to the mp3 file?

I don't want album art, but for each artist a picture.
And if possible an automatic/batch search for pictures.

Does anybody know if there is such a script?
I couln't find it on this forum

I have an app on my iphone (Myartists) that does what i want in mediamonky :D
But that app doesn't save the pictures in my mp3

I don't think this is currently available. It has been suggested to me before and is on my list, but I don't get as much time to script as I'd like.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

I find the idea interesting too, but unfortunately MediaMonkey doesn't really provide a useful way to use this.

I think it would be nice if in the main window (or panel invoked when Artist node is selected) that it would show an Artist picture and bio (Artist Comment) and the Albums by the Artist. For the Album node it would be nice it shows Album info (Album Comment).
