I was successfully using the batch art finder on an XP machine, but now I've got a new Win7 x64 machine (using MM3.2.4.1304) and it doesn't work.
When I try and run the batch art finder script it brings up the window OK, then after a short time it shows No results:1 implying it tried to search for art but didn't find anything (highly unusual for a start). Then if I try and do anything with that window, it hangs. I can't resize it, close it, click on edit query. Nothing. There's only one thing I can do to it, ok two things, I can move the window around and I can close it. If I try anything else at all, it hangs and I have to kill media monkey completely.
I've tried going through config items in tools-preferences comparing the xp machine against the new machine and I can't see anything. I've also tried adding MM to the firewall exceptions, and even running it as administrator.
Batch Art Finder fails then hangs
Re: Batch Art Finder fails then hangs
I ran a http trace tool and saw that the google search was going out properly, and the results were providing plenty of images. Somehow the batch art finder isn't parsing (or getting) the results.

I've got the same problem and OS. Does anybody can help with this issue?

I ended up using MediaMonkey inside Win 7's "XP Mode".Tommaso wrote:I've got the same problem and OS. Does anybody can help with this issue?

Thx for the answer. Did I understand well that you created a virtual XP system? The cover plugin isn't so important so I let it go.
Is in MediaMonkey 4 tag search is better than in 3 version?
