Hey,
just a quick one i guess.
How do you guys seperate different song versions? Especially live and acoustic versions are quite often in the libary - but is there a way to tag them properly? The only way I know is to add (live) to the song name, but that doesn´t feel right...
Am I doing it wrong? Is there a better way?

Re: seperate different song versions by tag
Most common would be using parenthesis in the Title tag. However you can use any other tag including a custom tag to differentiate. For example live versions could just be distinguished by adding the Live genre to the tags.

In reality, you can separate them any way that makes sense to you. Like Lowlander, I use paranthesis most of the time ie; Track Title (original) vs Track Title (remix), or Track Title (1968 version).
Or you could tag acoustic versions in the Album Title ie; Skillet's Comatose with extra acoustic tracks I label as Comatose Acoustic. It really only matters to you how you tag them.
