UPnP Install as Service Logon Failure

Post by RiffRaffAK »

I repeatedly get this failure and have been unable to use UPnP as a Service. I am running the latest version of MMW 4.1.15.1830 with a Gold license. I am logged in as an administrator. I have also tried running MMW as an administrator with no success.

Please let me know why I cannot logon with the password I used to logon to the computer I am typing this with.

Thank you,

Hi,
Open Windows explorer and paste this to address bar "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools" then open services and locate MediaMonkey after that set correct start credentials. After that you should be OK, if not remove service and install it again.

If you are entering the normal login you use for the PC and its failing.

You need to add the username that you log in to the PC with onto the 'allow to create service' list using the local policy editor.

I had exactly the same and it fixed that issue.
