I just downloaded the latest version of MMonkey and I notice that the Search Box is gone, but my friend that got same version have the search box.
So my question is: how do I get back the search box?
Thanks in Advance.

Hey buddy, just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the fix. Ive been without my search for almost a year and have been considering changing to another player. Decided to try out the google box regarding this problem before officially dumping MM and stumbled upon this post. Its back!!! Im the happiest guy in asheville. Many thanks. All i did was go to "view" - "tollbars" - and selected everything previously un-selected ("search" was of course already selected, just not showing up) - once i did this it reappeared in the Rhand "now playing" screen and dragged it to its rightful place. why did i wait so long????!!!2many wrote:Well I got it back. First I went in to C:\Users\(My User Name)\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey [On Windows 7] and made a backup copy of mediamonkey.ini, then deleted the orginal. Then restarted MM. It still wasn't there at first. I did the right click on the toolbar area and checked Search. I had to drag it up from the Art & Details panel. I got it back to where it belongs.![]()
It possible it was in the art in details panel or the now playing. I had those panels off so I could more of the tag details while working on organizing my library of over 16,000 files.
If this helps you out me, let me know. Good luck.
P.S. If that doesn't work, the only thing I can think of was my next step. Make a backup of the mediamonkey, ini and the MM.db file, uninstall MM, reboot, reinstall and the copy the files back.
I hope this post has been helpful to someone out there.
