Casting MP4 video to TV

I tried to cast an MP4 video to my LG TV. MM recognized my TV, I got a message on my screen telling me that an external device wants to control the TV. I said yes. But it did not work I got " cannot decode" as the reason. The video works fine on my lap top, is there something i can do to play it on my TV?

Can you try the same with an MP3 file? Does it fail too? Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey 5 are you using?
