MM won't play flac while VLC, Media Player, foobar will

Why is MM showing a flac file as not only 00:00 but refusing to play when any other media player seems to work properly.

VLC, Media Monkey, Foobar....but not MM.

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey are you seeing this with?

Can you share the file with Support?

As a first step I would suggest you to upgrade to latest build from viewtopic.php?t=86639&sd=d

If that do not help plase open support ticket and supply us with Shared Download link to one file so taht we can analyze.

So here is the flac file file MM reports as 00:00 time. But this same file plays fine with Foobar, VLC, and media player.

While this my PC computer, I also have a MAIN pc theater that it does the same thing.

Really strange. Got to be a codec I have perhaps.

This file works just fine on both MediaMonkey 5 and MediaMonkey 2024.

Can you please make a copy of this file on your PC, and then import the copy. Does the copy have the same issue for you?
