Windows 7 and IOS 26

Post by Armorall »

So, I made the mistake of upgrading my iPhone to IOS26.
Note: I have not had an upgrade be bennificial to ME, in the lat 10 years!
Now MediaMonkey no longer work with it. (LOVELY!)
So, now I download the newest MediaMonkey, and it will not load onto Windows 7!
I DO NOT want to throw away my PC and decades of software to upgrade to Windows 8-11.
I LIKE and trust Windows 7, and frankly will not upgrade from it.
My computer is a tool, I do not buy a new hammer when Home Depot builds a new store?
My question is, why is everyone being the OS Police for Microsoft?
I guess it it Goodbye to Media Monkey.....It was good while it lasted.

Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7 (or even 8, and very soon 10), which means it's unsafe to use if you're connected to the internet (which is most computers) and thus should not be used anymore. Windows 7 also represents a very small market share.

This makes it expensive for any software developer to continue to support Windows 7 and 8 as it will take development hours without many sales to pay for them.

Note that many updates address security issues under the hood, so even when feature wise there are no benefits you still benefit from the update.
