Importing playlist

I imported the following playlist into Media Monkey 2024.1.0.3113



Here are the imported playlist in Media Monkey playlist node.



Why are the playlist blank?

This happens when the Path on the Playlist is invalid. You can check and fix Paths in any text editor (like Notepad) prior to scanning.

It's hard to tell what to do. But I update path to location of my music folder, that did not work.
So, opened a valid Media Monkey playlist in Notepad to see paths, see below



I copied what I believe is required path to incorrect playlist, see here



Saved it, rescan MM, playlist is still empty.

I don't know what else to do.

The later uses relative Paths. This means the Playlist file need to be in a specific location (relative to the files). You may want to try absolute (full path with drive letter) and see if that works for you.

Did you remove the empty Playlist from MediaMonkey, and then rescan it? Presumably the Paths are valid?

That didn’t work either. I even took it a step further and double-clicked the playlist file directly from its folder. Media Monkey opened it and scanned, but still couldn’t find any tracks. At this point I’ve given up and just recreated all the playlists.

Then the Paths were likely still invalid and didn't point to where the files actually reside.
