Artist title is adding in the composer

I have searched all through the forum with no luck on how to stop MMW 2024.1.3113 from listing artists and composers in the Artist column. I know it is user error, but can someone kindly direct me to where I can learn to fix this issue?

Example, instead of just listing Bon Jovi it is coming up as Bon Jovi; Desmond Child/Jon Bon Jovi/Richie Sambora

I have used TagScanner and MusicBrainz Picard to edit tags and then rescan the folders but still get this tagging in MMW

I tested on My library using 2024.2.0.378 and if Tracks have correct tag data then Composer is not shown at Artist list

See Below Example where I used Artist/Composer "9th Wonder" tracks as example where for track "Not Here Anymore" he was just composer and for track "Make It Big" he was artist. Below image shows that One track is credit him as Composer and Other Only as Artist.

If you are sure that that is wrong for you please share MM Track properties of problematic track.

NOTE: It is also possible that you have not Re-scanned Tracks into MM library after TagScanner and MusicBrainz Picard changes to files and MM library was not updated.

I actually removed all of my library after using tagscanner and then re-scanned. I am wondering if I have a setting improperly configured that is causing the issue. Here is a problem file, and you can see the Artist's name includes the composers instead of just listing Maxi Priest as the artist. Complete user error but no idea how to fix it or where to look to correct the system setting.

Likely due to how the tag is being saved by the other application. If you share a sample file with Support this can be analyzed to see why.

Note that MediaMonkey can be used to tag the files as well.

Will do, I just checked the file in Tagscanner and the tags look correct from what I can see. I also see that the file was encoded and tagged through iTunes.
